NGM Major High is the school that generations of Long Islanders (and honourary Long Islanders) have been proud to call their alma mater. Consistent scholastic results and excellance in track and field and other physical activities have put NGM on the educational map. Thanks must be extended to all those parents, students and especially the teachers who have made NGM a success in all fields throughout the years. How has NGM Major High succeeded where countless other government schools have failed? It would appear that a combination of understanding, discipline and personal interest, as well high expectations of students by their family and teachers has facilitated NGM's status. |
