THE INTERHOUSE SYSTEMThe House system is designed to help students to develop good sportsmanship, discipline and positive attitudes, which will help them through their lives after graduation. Each student is assigned to a house upon admission to the school. The four houses, which are named in honour of the Late Patron of this school, are as follows: |

During the school year, interhouse competitions are held in sports ( e.g. softball, volleyball, track/field and the annual Tug-a-War) and academics (e.g. spelling and academic quizzes).trophies and/or medals are awarded to the winning houses and individuals at the end of each event. Teachers award merits for positive performances such as good work, helpfulness, outstanding work/behaviour etc., and may also give demerits for negative behaviour or attitudes. Students receiving the most merits after demerits have been subtracted are awarded with a prize or trophy during the annual Speech Night and Awards Presentation Ceremony.
